The Environmental Observatory is a consortium formed by the Province of Lecce and the Municipality of Campi Salentina.

Its main activities are those of Environmental Monitoring, with particular reference to the Atmospheric Monitoring in the province of Lecce’s area.

The Observatory manages the Area Network of Atmospheric Monitoring of the Province of Lecce since the 2001, by availing also of the scientific help of the CNR – ISAC of Lecce and of the Laboratory of Science of Materials of the University of Lecce, as well.
